Businettes was created in 2019 by Victoria Arnhold and Claire Siegert with the aim to close the gender gap in the European startup ecosystem. We first launched in Germany where we became the largest community of female founders and have then expanded to France (2023) and the UK (2024).

We empower female founders.
Businettes was founded in late 2019 by Victoria Arnhold and Claire Siegert. After years in the corporate world—working in marketing, strategy, and innovation—they set out to create something of their own.
Today, Businettes is a team of seven women with one shared mission: to connect, support, and empower (aspiring) female founders through hands-on formats and a strong, engaged community.
Active in Germany, France, and the UK, Businettes unites over 6,000 members and collaborates with leading corporate partners who share the vision of a more diverse startup ecosystem.
